At Stokke, we strive to deliver your orders on time. However, sometimes shipments may experience delays due to various reasons. To help you understand the shipment status updates and what they mean, we have outlined common shipment delay statuses below:

Shipment Delay Statuses and Their Meanings

1. Processing Delay
This status indicates that the order is still being prepared in our warehouse. It may be due to stock shortages, high order volume, or quality checks.

2. In Transit Delay
This means the shipment has left our warehouse but is delayed in transit due to customs inspection, carrier issues, or adverse weather conditions.

3. Delivery Exception
An unexpected event has prevented delivery, such as incorrect address information, recipient unavailable, or transport disruptions.

4. Awaiting Pickup
The shipment is ready and waiting at a designated pickup location. If not collected on time, this can lead to further delays.

What To Do When You Experience a Shipment Delay

  • Check the tracking information regularly for updates.
  • Ensure that delivery address details are correct and accessible.
  • Prepare for possible pickup if instructed.
