If you forget your terminal’s pincode, you can reset it easily to restore access.

How to reset your pincode:

  1. Open your Flatpay app or access the merchant portal.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Terminal Management > Reset Pincode.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity (via email or phone).
  4. Create a new pincode.

Common issues when resetting pincode:

  • Not receiving the verification code: check spam/junk folders or verify your contact details.
  • Unable to access reset option due to app/portal errors: try updating your app or clear cache.
  • Forgotten linked email or phone number: contact support for account verification.

Best Practices:

  • Regularly verify your contact info to ensure you receive reset codes promptly.
  • Choose a secure yet memorable pincode, avoid simple patterns.
  • Update your terminal firmware regularly to prevent compatibility issues.
